Our Story
#Imagine began in 2013 when a group of teenage ministry leaders came together to dream of new ways to reach and disciple teenagers.
Today, that dream has become a nationwide movement of hundreds of churches from diverse backgrounds across South Africa.
In 2016, the Imagine Youth Movement NPC was registered as a non-profit company to provide structure and oversight to the growing network.
A volunteer board of directors — all full-time ministry leaders — provides strategic leadership and ensures collaboration across the country.

What We Hope to Achieve
We exist to inspire and equip teenagers to:
Imagine new possibilities for their lives, communities, and country
Cultivate a Christ-centered identity rooted in a local church
Take action to make South Africa a better place
We also assist churches in building youth ministries that empower and include teens, and we aim to be a reconciling influence across communities.
